WordPress Hosting FAQ
WordPress Hosting FAQ
Answers for customers moving to fully managed WordPress with Help4.
What does “fully managed WordPress” mean?
It means Help4 handles the technical operations for your WordPress site: updates, security, performance, troubleshooting, and requested changes.
Can I just ask for changes in plain English?
Yes. Many customers simply send “Do this” style requests. Our team translates that into implementation tasks.
Do you migrate existing WordPress websites?
Yes. We can migrate sites, preserve URLs where possible, and validate SEO + performance after migration.
Where do payments and checkout run?
Checkout and billing are processed on Help4 WordPress to keep payment routing centralized and reliable.
Can you support stores, membership sites, and booking flows?
Yes. We support business sites, commerce flows, subscriptions, booking workflows, and integration-heavy projects.
What if I need custom development?
We can scope custom work and route it to the right team, then maintain it under your managed plan.
What is included in the $4.95 hosting path?
The entry plan is for customers who want an affordable WordPress starting point and expect to handle normal content, plugin, theme, and day-to-day site decisions themselves. The final Help4 Network product page controls current billing and included service terms.
Can I start with hosting and add help later?
Yes. The Help4 path is designed so a customer can begin with hosting, then move into managed maintenance, growth work, priority support, migration, security cleanup, page building, or a custom scope when the site needs more ownership.
How do I choose between DIY and managed care?
Choose DIY when you are comfortable handling routine WordPress work and only need the hosting path. Choose managed care when updates, plugin conflicts, backups, forms, site edits, security, or technical decisions should have a person responsible for completing and verifying them.
What should I send when asking for a plan recommendation?
Send the site URL, the main business goal, the problems you want off your list, any deadline, and whether the website handles leads, payments, bookings, memberships, or customer accounts. Help4 can route the request without requiring you to know the technical vocabulary.
How are support replies delivered?
Help4 replies may arrive from help4network.com or help4.us. Check spam, promotions, and other filtered folders when you are waiting for a response, and keep the ticket number in the email subject so the conversation stays connected.
Support routing: Self-managed plans use ticket support only. Fully managed plans can open a ticket or contact their account rep. Calls can request escalation, but SMS escalations are normally fastest.
